Wamplers Lake sits in the Irish Hills west of Tecumseh.
About 30 minutes out, it's part of the chain of inland lakes that pulls Lenawee and Jackson County folks for fishing, boating, and slow summer afternoons. Public access points, several private resorts and marinas, and easy access from US-12 make it one of the obvious day-trip moves out from town.
