The Quilt Patch is downtown Tecumseh's real fabric shop.
Right on North Evans Street, this is the kind of well-stocked quilting store that is getting rarer every year. Bolts of cotton fabric, patterns, kits, the whole quilting toolkit. They also run classes if you want to actually learn the craft, keep a long-arm shop on site for the finishing stage, and sell sewing machines. It is end-to-end for a quilter, not just a shelf of fat quarters.
Open seven days a week. Late hours on Tuesdays and Thursdays until 7:00, regular 9:00 to 5:00 most other weekdays, Saturday until 4:00, Sunday noon to 4:00. The late nights are useful if you are coming in from Ann Arbor or Saline after work. Regulars consistently rave about the staff and the project help.
