Description
Onsted village park with a trail and room to run. Onsted Village Park anchors the village about 20 minutes west of Tecumseh on the way out toward the Irish Hills, and it's set up to handle the full range of "we need to be outside for a while" plans.
There's a playground and an outdoor play area for the kids, a baseball diamond for league nights and pickup games, and a hiking trail for when you'd rather walk than sit. Locals consistently rave about how well it works as a one-park-fits-all stop on a Saturday.
Open 8am to 10pm daily, free to use. Kids and dogs both welcome. Pavilion reservations typically run through the village office, so call ahead if you're planning a birthday or family reunion that needs covered space.
Easy add-on if you're road-tripping toward Brooklyn, Cambridge Junction, or the Irish Hills wineries. More area parks and outdoor stops at mitecumseh.com.
