Michigan International Speedway sits in Brooklyn, a drive west of Tecumseh through the Irish Hills. It's a major NASCAR oval, and race weekends turn the whole area into a sea of campers, coolers, and engine noise you feel in your chest. If you're building a day around a race, the drive out is half the fun. Worth knowing it's close, even if you're not a racing person.
