Goose Creek Grasslands

Goose Creek Grasslands is a nature preserve in Lenawee County. Grasslands are one of the most threatened habitats in southeast Michigan, since most of the original prairie got plowed under or paved over generations ago, so preserves like this one are working remnants. Sites like this are typically about tallgrass, wildflowers, and bird species that depend on open habitat rather than playgrounds and picnic tables.
