Rustic resort on Evans Lake in Tipton, about 20 minutes southwest of Tecumseh - timber-framed cabins by the water, a private beach, and a tiki bar that makes the whole lake thing feel less like camping and more like a proper getaway. Good for families, with room to run and water that's actually swimmable in summer.
Dock access and marina facilities if you're bringing a boat, or just showing up to swim, grill, and sit by the water. The lake itself is one of those inland Michigan spots that stays quiet - plenty of families know about it, but it doesn't feel crowded.
