Captain's Lounge is the neighborhood bar in downtown Clinton. It sits on West Michigan Avenue, about 10 minutes from Tecumseh up M-50. It runs as the kind of fixture that locals know by first name and visitors find by walking past.
The setup leans pub: beer, wine, and cocktails on the drinks side, with pub eats on the food side and games like pool in the room. Pricing lands on the inexpensive end. Good for groups, dine-in and takeout both work, and restrooms are obviously a given.
Hours skew evening and late. It opens at 4 p.m. most nights and runs to 2 a.m., with earlier noon opens on Friday and Saturday. That late close is part of the point - this is where you end up at 10:30 when you are not ready to call it.
