Antique Shops in Tecumseh & the Irish Hills, Michigan
Antiquing around Tecumseh is really two trips in one. There is the walkable cluster right downtown, three shops within a block of each other on Chicago Boulevard, and then there is the longer haul west into the Irish Hills, where the old antique malls and flea markets line US-12 and M-50 through Clinton, Blissfield, and Brooklyn. Put together, it is one of the better afternoons of hunting in southeast Michigan, about a twenty-five-minute drive end to end.
The catch, and the reason this page exists, is that antique shops keep some of the most scattered hours of any business you will ever plan a day around. Two of them only open on weekends. Half of them are dark on Monday. A couple never close at all. Open any single shop’s Google listing and you see its hours; what no panel shows you is the pattern across all ten at once, which is the only thing that actually tells you which day to go. Here is that pattern, pulled from each shop’s own Google details and checked in August 2026.
The one thing to know first: go on a Saturday
If you want the whole list open on the same day, Saturday is the answer, and it is the only answer. Saturday is the single day all ten of these shops keep hours. Every other day of the week something is closed: on Monday, five of the ten are dark; the two weekend flea markets never open Tuesday through Friday at all. If you are driving in from Ann Arbor, Plymouth, or Saline to make a day of it, make it a Saturday.

Downtown Tecumseh: three shops, one block
These three sit on or just off East Chicago Boulevard in downtown Tecumseh, close enough to do on foot. Antiques & Vintage on the Boulevard is the highest-rated of the trio and the only downtown shop open on Sunday; Second Chance Consignment leans more resale and consignment than pure antiques but is the most-reviewed shop on this whole page. Both Tecumseh Antique Appeal and Second Chance are closed Sundays.

The Irish Hills antique trail: Clinton, Blissfield & Brooklyn
Head west and the shops get bigger and further apart. Antiques at the Next Level is on Tecumseh’s east edge on Monroe Road; from there it is a short hop to Whistlin’ Woodpecker Vintage Market in Clinton, then out along the classic US-12 / M-50 antiquing stretch to Blissfield Antiques Mall and the Brooklyn shops. The two highest-rated stops on the entire page are both in Brooklyn: Pinetree Antiques & More and Memory Lane Antique Shop, each at 4.7, and both are open all seven days if you cannot make a weekend work.

Which day to go: the whole-trail hours grid
This is the part no single shop’s page can tell you. Read the ten shops side by side and a clear pattern falls out of the week. Saturday is the only day every shop is open. Monday is the day to avoid, five of the ten are closed. And the two flea markets, Tecumseh Trade Center and Irish Hills Antiques, only open Saturday and Sunday, so if either is on your list the trip has to land on a weekend.

So: a full-trail day is a Saturday. A relaxed Sunday still gets you eight shops including both flea markets and the two all-week Brooklyn stores. A weekday works fine for the downtown three plus the Brooklyn pair, but skip Monday if you can.
