Hidden Lake Gardens

Gardens and trees, a whole lot of open quiet. Hidden Lake Gardens is a botanical garden and arboretum out near Tipton, in the rolling country west of Tecumseh.

This is the slow, green, leave-your-phone-in-your-pocket kind of outing - paths to walk, plantings to look at, room to breathe that you don't get in a parking lot. Make it the anchor of a day in the Irish Hills, then loop back toward Tecumseh for food. It rewards taking your time.
