Pita Delight

Pita Delight is the Greek and Mediterranean spot on East Chicago Boulevard, right on downtown Tecumseh's main walking strip. Gyros, chicken shawarma, falafel, hummus, salads, and pita-wrapped plates that travel well if you're walking back to the car.

Open 11am to 8pm most days, until 7pm Sunday, closed Wednesday. Quick counter-service pace, but cozy enough to sit down for an actual lunch if you've got the time.

Regulars rave about the hummus, the chicken shawarma, and the falafel, with generous portions and reasonable prices on top of it. Staff is friendly, service is fast. Vegetarian options are well represented, which makes it an easy pick when half the group eats meat and half doesn't.
