Description
Adams Park is a 1-acre greenspace at 309 E. Chicago Boulevard in downtown Tecumseh, directly next to City Hall. It is the venue for Tecumseh's Music in the Park summer concert series - a recurring event that draws neighbors and day-trippers downtown on warm evenings. Seating, walking access, and a central location make it easy to fold into a downtown afternoon.
At one acre it is not a hiking destination, but it is the kind of park that earns steady use: close to the main commercial strip, shaded, and maintained well enough that locals make it part of a regular walk. Tecumseh has over 360 acres of parkland total, and this is the most centrally located of the city's parks.
Good for a short break between downtown shop stops or before a restaurant meal on Chicago Boulevard.
