This is cabin-and-dock territory, about 25 minutes west of Tecumseh. The kind of stay where the water is essentially your backyard and the schedule is whatever you make it.

Pack fishing gear, a swimsuit, and accept that cell signal will be a suggestion. Worth the drive when you want lake time without committing to crossing the state.
