Emmy's Kitchen is a small bake shop on East Adrian Street in Blissfield, and the lineup tells you most of what you need to know - cookies, cupcakes, donuts, cakes, and the kind of cinnamon rolls that get people in the car before the sun's all the way up.
Hours skew toward the weekend. They're open Wednesday through Friday from 6 AM to 4 PM, Saturday 7 to 2, and Sunday 8 to 1. Closed Monday and Tuesday, so plan around it.
This is one of those places regulars consistently rave about. The baked goods come out fresh and flavorful, the cake and cupcake presentation gets called out specifically, and the staff has a reputation for being genuinely friendly. Coffee is on the menu to go with whatever you're picking up, but takeout is the whole model - grab a box, grab a cup, and find somewhere else to sit.
