Hours are 7am to 3pm Tuesday through Sunday, closed Mondays. Pricing stays in the inexpensive lane, which makes it a low-friction family stop. They handle dine-in and takeout, kids' menu is on hand, and reviewers consistently come back for the everyday breakfast plate.

What this place has that a lot of new restaurants don't: a steady local following. It's a family-owned room, the staff knows the rhythm, and the food gets to the table fast enough that you can still be in Tecumseh by mid-morning.
